Scanfully IP addresses

Scanfully has no static IP addresses. Its checks run from cloud servers whose addresses can change at any time, so there is no list of addresses to allow in a firewall or to look for in your server logs.

If a firewall, WAF or security plugin blocks Scanfully, allow it by a request header instead of by IP address. Scanfully can send a header and value of your choice with every request to your site, and you tell your firewall to let requests with that header through. See How to use custom request headers.

When your server or firewall refuses a check, for example with HTTP 403, the uptime screen shows Our uptime monitor is being blocked, and the check is marked Monitor blocked. Blocked checks do not count as downtime, so they do not trigger down or recovered alerts, but Scanfully cannot confirm that your site is up while the block lasts.

To fix it, add a custom request header in the site’s settings and allow that header in your firewall, or ask your hosting provider to do it for you. See Uptime for the monitor screens.
