Site health data is not showing
The Site health screen shows the data the Scanfully plugin sends from your WordPress site. When it says No health report yet, or its last run time is days old, the data is not reaching Scanfully. These are the usual causes.
The plugin is not connected
Section titled “The plugin is not connected”The data only comes from the Scanfully plugin. Check in your WordPress admin that the plugin is installed, active and connected to your Scanfully account. If it isn’t, connect it from the plugin’s page in the WordPress admin. See Connect your website to Scanfully.
Scheduled tasks are not running
Section titled “Scheduled tasks are not running”The plugin sends the site health data every 3 hours, and about a minute after you install, activate, deactivate, update or delete a plugin. It does this with scheduled tasks (Action Scheduler, which runs on WordPress cron). When WordPress cron does not run, or runs rarely, the data is not sent.
- WordPress cron runs when someone visits the site. A site with very few visitors may run it rarely.
- If
DISABLE_WP_CRONis set totrueinwp-config.php, a real cron job on the server must callwp-cron.phpinstead. Check with your host that it does. - In the WordPress admin, Tools > Scheduled Actions (on a WooCommerce site, WooCommerce > Status > Scheduled Actions) lists the plugin’s tasks under the
scanfullygroup. Pending tasks that are long overdue, or failed ones, point to a cron problem. - A plugin such as WP-Cron Status Checker can tell you whether WordPress cron works.
A plugin conflict
Section titled “A plugin conflict”Another plugin may get in the way of the Scanfully plugin. To test for a conflict:
- Temporarily deactivate all plugins except Scanfully.
- Disconnect the site in the Scanfully plugin settings.
- Connect it again.
- Reactivate your other plugins.
Wait a few minutes and check whether the data arrives.
A firewall blocks outgoing requests
Section titled “A firewall blocks outgoing requests”The plugin sends the data from your server to Scanfully’s API. A firewall or security plugin that blocks outgoing requests from WordPress stops it. Ask your host whether outgoing HTTPS requests are allowed.
If none of this helps, contact Scanfully support.
